Appalachian Striped Wood Cutting Board

These handcrafted cutting boards are made in southwest Virginia from local hardwoods that are sustainably sourced and harvested in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.

These cutting boards are great for everyday use, and for your special occasions. Each board takes approximately four weeks to make from cutting the strips on the table saw, carefully placing the strips to create our unique patterns. Once quality control has approved all boards, they are branded on the back and then finish off with a coat of mineral oil to bring out the spectacular grain and richness of the wood.

• Care:
  • Hand wash with soap and water.
  • Do not soak or put in dishwasher.
  • Pat dry immediately.
  • If necessary, use a scraper in your cleaning process, but not a wire brush.
  • Keep it properly moisturized. We recommend using Board Butta, a food-safe product, made with organic jojoba oil and beeswax.
  • Food grade mineral oil is a good alternative.

• Each board will vary slightly from those pictured due to the natural character and variations in the wood. While the overall design remains consistent, no two boards are exactly alike.
