The hikes in this book are organized into 27 areas and 39 maps. These areas are within the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, Ocotillo Wells State Vehicular Recreation area, Agua Caliente County Park, the Coyote Mountains, McCain Valley National Recreation Area, and the Western mountains.Many of the hikes included in this book are loops with multiple Marks to find. Walking instructions are given so that the hiker can, using a GPS, enter the coordinates of a Mark and utilize the "Go To" function to reach the ultimate destination.
