They are carnivorous and are equipped with sharp spines along their front legs to grasp prey. The mantis is a very unique insect in that it can turn its head 180 degrees, has only one ear and some are large enough to capture hummingbirds.Metal Earth is made from high quality steel sheets. Each model features amazing detail with parts cut from one or more 4” square steel sheets. Easy to follow instructions are included with each kit and NO GLUE OR SOLDER REQUIRED!
